Greetings my fellow Family, Students, Faculty, and Brothers of Alpha!
We come to you with warm gratitude and love from the 741st house of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. We the brothers of the Pi Nu Chapter have strived for excellence ever since arriving on the campus of Appalachian State University in 1985.
Everyday the Pi Nu Chapter has been driven to improve the lives and uplift all that are apart of this great university, and the Boone community. We have a special connection with the High Country, and no it has nothing to do with our “ICE COLD” winters. We feel as if we have greatly impacted our communities for the better, and we will continue to do so for years to come.
The work of the Pi Nu Chapter is something that cannot be explained. Excuses are not in our explanations and are not used in the daily operations of the chapter. The brothers of this chapter have an understanding that is not found everywhere. We take the extra step and we strive for perfection in everything that we do. I hope that if you were to see a brother on this campus, that you would not identify us by our letters, but that you would know that we are Alpha men by our character. The Pi Nu Chapter holds leadership positions in 6 of the 9 multicultural organizations, and last semester 7 of the 9 multicultural organizations had Presidents that were members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. This is just an example of the attitude, leadership, and determination of the brothers of the Pi Nu Chapter.
